WK: 12 Analysis of educational “affordances” on glogster

Globster is a web 2.0 tool, which allows users to create and design multimedia posters. Additionally, Globster is used to facilitate interactive information sharing and peer collaboration in a digital environment. In the ELA classroom, students can use Globster to summarize books they've read an present their Globster to their class. Moreover, using Globster also allows students to build upon their knowledge and present their learning. Lastly, Globster supports different learning styles and supports the development of new literacy skills.

    Hey Julie,
    I really liked your lesson and technology integration. It sounds like your second graders are pretty advanced! Had they used Voice thread before this lesson? That is hard work, the summarizing, and working with Voice Thread, even just emailing a link of the Voice Thread could be difficult. Based on the implementation report, it sounds like it went well. Hope you enjoyed doing it with them:)
